Customers come to the core to access expertise, experience and of course, specialized state-of-the-arts equipment. We consider it paramount to stay at the cutting edge through active participation with Core Networks at the local, regional, national and international level.
  • Local: BCL shares activities with local network cores (Bioinformatics, Microarray, Bioimaging, Protein production, Structural biology-NMR, Mass Spec-proteomics, Genotyping and DNA sequencing) by participating in regular Core Director meetings, open houses and resource sharing.
  • Regional/National: BCL is funded in part by a COBRE (center of biomedical research excellence) grant, and participates in the regional and annual meetings of NIH-funded COBREs and INBREs (IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence).
  • International: The BCL Staff are members of the ABRF (Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities) and active participants in this professional association's annual meetings.
